After making the leather moped seat I got the idea to make a shoe protector in the same style. Since my Tomos 4L is a moped with gears that are shifted by foot, I wanted to make something that would protect my left shoe while shifting gears. After some online research I decided upon a specific design and set out to make a pattern.
After this I made the first version of the shoe protector. As you can see it fits well on my boots, but it also fits on any other types of shoes by adjusting the strap with the buckle.
Because the shoe protector wasn’t fastened to the shoe itself in any way I unfortunately lost the first version while driving on my moped. Having learned my lesson I made another version, this time with an extra, small strap with a snap closure which would fasten the shoe protector on the laces of the shoe thereby preventing me from losing it.
